The Toronto Revellers Cultural Association is a non-profit organization that aims to contribute to the multicultural landscape of Canada by promoting, celebrating and exploring the rich diverse culture and traditions of the Caribbean.
Toronto Revellers was founded by bandleader Jamaal Magloire in 2006, and is a collective of over 2000 masqueraders, volunteers, and designers who contribute to Toronto’s annual Toronto Caribbean Carnival.
The Toronto Caribbean Carnival is an exciting three-week cultural explosion of Caribbean music, cuisine, revelry, visual and performing arts. It has become a major international event, and the largest cultural festival of its kind in North America. With over 1.5 million participants, $400 million dollars in economic development and revenue (in 3 days) infused into the City of Toronto, hotels and other area businesses, the parade is the largest community based event in all of Canada.
